Meetings

Really?

Have effective meetings your team does not dread, by preparing it for success:

+ Focus on one subject and one subject only.

+ It does not have to last a full hour if you can have an effective 45 minutes.

+ Does your staff need to read about something beforehand? Provide such material with plenty of time.

+ Have a trusted teammate check the subject, the material, and the key points beforehand.

+ Allow for small brainstorming breaks during the meeting. Do not leave them for after it.

+ Some questions cannot wait till the end. Let the Q&A session be flexible.

These suggestions might do wonders for your productivity. Adjust accordingly.
